This poem was written by Adams mother November 8, 1990 and read by his big sister at his funeral service November 10, 1990:
My Adam, the time we spent together was so brief.
We know that God has given you relief.
From the day you were born to the last,
the time rushed by so very fast.
But we are thankful for each and every day.
May God hold you in his arms we pray.
With big brown eyes you spoke to us,
and watched the birds pass by in a rush.
The songs we sang, you knew so well:
Jesus Loves Me, The Farmer in the Dell.
When You Wish Upon a Star, all your dreams come true.
Our lives will be filled with sweet memories of you.
Adam, you brough us closer to family and friends, who couldn't seem to get enough of you. The love and caring they showered upon you will never be forgotten.
Thank you God for your gift of Adam.
He is now at home with You in Heaven
